Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

These terms and conditions constitute a contract between the client and Emily Olivia Photography ("the Photographer"). By booking our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Booking & Payment

• A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking
• The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event
• All prices are subject to change without notice
• Cancellations within 30 days of the event forfeit all payments made

3. Photography Services

• The Photographer will provide services using professional equipment and techniques
• While every effort will be made to capture all important moments, no particular photograph can be guaranteed
• The style and artistic direction of the photography are at the discretion of the Photographer
• The number of photographs delivered may vary and is at the Photographer's discretion

4. Delivery & Products

• Digital images will be delivered within 6-8 weeks of the event
• Physical products (albums, prints) may take 8-12 weeks for delivery
• Online galleries will remain active for 12 months
• The client is responsible for backing up delivered images

5. Copyright & Usage

• The Photographer retains copyright of all images
• A personal use license is granted to the client
• Images may not be edited, filtered, or altered in any way
• The Photographer reserves the right to use images for portfolio, marketing, and competition purposes

6. Limitation of Liability

• The Photographer's liability is limited to the amount paid for services
• No responsibility is accepted for:
  • Technical failures or equipment malfunction
  • Weather conditions affecting photography
  • Interference from guests or venue staff
  • Restrictions imposed by the venue or other vendors
• In the event of photographer illness/emergency, a suitable replacement will be provided or a full refund issued

7. Force Majeure

The Photographer shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, pandemic, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

8. Privacy

• Client information will be handled in accordance with UK data protection laws
• Contact details will only be used for business communications
• Client details will never be sold or shared with third parties

9. Complaints

Any complaints must be made in writing within 14 days of image delivery. The Photographer will make reasonable efforts to resolve any issues.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
